Full Version: New Blue Theme?

I switched back over to the blue theme from midnight (I switched cause the holiday theme was a little too much for me, I'm a minimalistic kinda guy) and the blue looks more like the ergonomic color rather then the brighter blue I thought it was.

Is this something new, or did the darkness of the midnight theme make my eyes go wacky? I like the change but I was just curious.

Mines okay, they had removed the Christmas / New year theme, but seems no difference on my end. wink.gif
Frank
Maybe it was just me.

I might be totally out of the loop, but short of visual styles, when did ergonomic become a color? Something i've been wondering about for some time...

Why are there two blue themes (Neowin 3 and Neowin Blue)? Is there a reason? Are the any differences between the two? It's only in the forums though, none of the news pages. Been two since after the upgrade.

Neowin 3 is the group name for all of the themes under it. Notice the others have ---dashes while Neowin 3 doesn't.

Well than, I don't know if it's supposed to be doing it, but it also switches me to a blue theme when I select it.

Blue is the default for that tree.

So when you hit Neowin 3 it goes to the default theme.

When you click on Neowin 3 its similar to a redirect to the blue theme.

Yea that's what I always figured. It's just weird that there's two ways to get to the same theme.

Frank, no worries. Like youself I switched to Midnight for the Christmas season (really fitting eh hmm.gif) and then went back to Neowin Blue and was like noexpression.gif WTF? It seemed to bright for me or something had changed but I remembered when I first used the theme, I have the exact same thoughts. Its natural we are uncomfortable to change so just sit and stare at the theme for a 20 minutes (you will either adjust to it or faint) tongue.gif

No change, just your eyes.

(I did the same thing, switched to Midnight, the Christmas theme was, fun...)
