Hi everyone.

Apologies if I repeat an existing thread, but I read on the Apple site that the powerbook (15") takes 512MB PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM.

Will it take any 3rd party RAM that matches this spec? The RAM upgrades in the Applestore seem very expensive.

Any advice would be great!! Thanks biggrin.gif

You can use any 3rd parties.

Just make sure that they are Sodimm 200pin.

I just bought this for my 15"

http://shop4.outpost.com/product/4158153

It was $169, then they dropped it to $159, and over Christmas they dropped it to $149, but now it's back up to $159. Still a good price. Works GREAT. Performance increase was HUGE. Very highly recommended.
