I just ordered a 40gb ipod off the apple website last night. 420 dollars with tax because apple has stores in massachusetts.

I think it should definitely be worth it, but if it's not I guess I can just return it. I had to get a wireless card and firewire card off newegg, too, because I am hosting music on my other computer.

I'm hoping that Apple reveal iPod 5G in this coming Expo..... because I don't want to go from 3G to 4G.

I would not... though I did go from a 3G to a mini. I am hoping that the 5G (whenever it comes out) if diffrent enough for me to justify getting a new high capacity one. The works great for workouts, but I would like somethin with a bit more space for the road. I really miss using my 3G as extra storage space for my laptop.
