I just installed Damn Small Linux on an old 199Mhz K-6 system with about 32mb of ram.
This computer flys with this distro installed on it. I am very impressed with the install , and fluxbox is nice too. Its a great Distro to bring back old boxen from the dead and give them another chance in life. I do have one question, How do you configure "SLIT"? its so small that its hard to see, I can move it BUT I cannot expand the size.
Thanks

Just stab it some more. It's bound to get bigger at some point in time.

I am no expert at the Fluxbox slit, but I think that it has 0 width. It is just a holder for the 'slitted' apps.

It seems to adjust its width based on whatever it contains. For example, when I run wmxmms in it, it is of a certain (unchangable, from what I have seen) width. If I have gkrellm in there, I can adjust the width of gkrellm, and the slit expands (leaving space around wmxmms, if it is present).

What is the exact problem? What app do you have in the slit?

I have a system monitor in SLIT, Looks like Gkrellm, its no big deal, I just wanted to make it larger.

If its like the slit in BBlean/BBWin you can change the defaults via the .rc file. There should be some sort of slit definintion line which =0. You can alter that, then save the file.
