Hey Guys,

I have come to the conclusion that the new ATI Radeon Official XP drivers are a complete piece of crap. OpenGL never ran so bad, CS ran very choppy. And so I switched back to Win2k Alternate Display Driver on ATI.com's drivers page (which even though are not MS WHQL certified run great in XP with no problems). These drivers are awesome and OpenGL now runs top notch. So I recommend to anyone who is into gaming, wants the performance and uses XP to use them smile.gif

That is until ATI comes out with an updated XP driver.

where the hell can u find out ur driver build?

i tried 'driver details' and it says not available...

oh well i spose i know which ones i have installed...

i got some really bad shell glitches with those alternate drivers thou hmm.gif

screen redraw type errors all over the place - especially near the clock confused.gif

i would now say that the 3226 build drivers are my fave - they dont have that many shell glitches - but their fps is still quite good - unlike those crappy official XP ones...

i installed the new 3281 XP drivers, and so far they have been wonderful. i'm getting the fastest opengl frames i've gotten so far. very nice, i suggest you try em. i was using the WIN2k 3271 before these, but i think these are better.
