i'm looking at headphones to replace the ones that came with my mp3 player and saw good reviews for the PX200's.

i looked on amazon and found them, along with the Px100 and was wondering what is the difference between them and what experiences have people had of these 'phones?

cheers

PX100 are open, so should sound better.
PX200 are basicly the same but closed, quieter for other people but wont sound quite so good.

i haven't tried either tho.. that was just from their specs and what i know about open and closed headphones.

PX100's are generally thought to sound better than 200's. the 200's are a closed design but they lack the surface area to seal around the ear.

i urge you to check out the senn PMX-60 neck-worn headphones too. they sound excellent, look excellent (dunno if that's an asset to you though) and are very inexpensive!

thanks for the replies, it's jus that the 100's are cheaper, what is the difference between ope and closed?
