what is the difference between Macintosh and Apple Hardware ?

err they are the same ... kind of.
Macintosh is Apples operating system so Macintosh hardware would be the hardware used directly to run the Macintosh platform.
Apples hardware is general really they make Macintosh hardware aswell as wireless keyboard / mouse, wireless routers iPod's and loads more of stuff.

Macintosh is not the OS.... Apple is the name of the company, who made the Macintosh computer in 1984, the revolurionary personal computer.... the Os is called MacOS.....

iPod / Macintosh = Brands within the company.
Apple Hardware = Hardware made by, the company, Apple.
