Which are the best ATI drivers? I imagine this question i asked ALL the time, but when i searched for it, i found nothing current; onyl things from like 3.2 and stuff, but now ATI has 4.2 out.
Anyone? I know this is an early bump, but i'm looking for a quick awnser.

Never had any Problems with the Official ATi Catalysts
Try them all, see which you prefere. I'd never had any reason to change.

i used to use omega's, but recently been using ati's. omega's gave me a few hundred more points when a ran some bench marks but somtimes they take a lil while before they come out so i switched. i didnt like the dna's.
i tried omegas, but every so often i'd get a blank screen on start up once it had reached windows. so i went back to ati...and no problems.
Omega Rulz when it comes to Drivers for (Ati & Nvidia)

When I had an ATI card I always used the Omega's
I've never really had any reason to use anything other than the official ATI drivers since getting my 9800 Pro.
I may try Omega or DNA drivers with 3D Mark to see if they improve things at all.

I have been using the Omega's since 3.9 and have been very pleased.
i used the omegas until ati fixed the num lock/arrow key issue when playing half life mods
I tried the Omegas and had nothing but stability issues... however, after installing the Catalyst drivers and uninstalling CCC (Catalyst Control Center) my Radeon 9800 Pro runs like a champ.

omega's
the radlinker shipped w/ em is amazing
the official cats have that horrible catalyst control center which is plain stupid so i use omegas for better fps/stability/quality

Used to use the Omega's but switched to DNA back when the Cat 3.9 came out. I play CoD-UO alot and found the DNA drivers to be superior.

Kerm,
You are getting that error because the Catalyst Control Center requires Microsoft .NET framework v 1.1 to be installed. Go to www.microsoft.com to download.

How do I use Omega drivers? I DLed one and installed it, but I still couldn't launch WoW because it said 3d acceleration undetected or something. ( worked when I had official drivers )
And also, after the installation of Omega, I still get popups on startups saying new material has been detected ( I uninstalled all the other ATI drivers from my comp before launching Omega ) and asking for the install cd etc.
I have used the official and omega. I didn't notice a performance increase, but I stuck with Omega just because of the extra options.
