posi
speedo went to 160
It was very fast
Sold it to my bro when he got out of the Navy, the $1000 a year insurance was hard to pay. I had no tickets, no accidents, it was just that much for full coverage on a hot car like that around 71 when your 16.
1999 Toyota 4Runner. Here is what it looked like when I bought it:

And
here is what it looks like now. It's a lot nicer car than I ever could have afforded had I bought a new one or even a used one.

1993 Dodge Dakota (3.9L V6)
ProsGood Runner.
4wd is great for icey mornings.
Low miles for a 12 year old almost daily ran, (84,963 miles)
More power than my buddies trucks

Manual trans. is way more fun than auto
New clutch
New front brake pads & rotors
ConsThe radio only works sometimes.
Brakes I don't like to much, its like 80% front / 20% rear

Balding tires (they are original)
Needs muffler
Gas mileage..its a truck hehe.
ModsStraight pipe to replace my muffler. It's a temporary thing.
Current StatusIn the backyard, with a full tank of gas. I drive it to school and work.
No accidents, bumper to bumper contact with my friend is on purpose. And on country roads.
Remember, I'm not tailgating..

I'm drafting!
DRAFTING:The practice of two or more cars, while racing, to run nose-to-tail, almost touching. The lead car, by displacing the air in front of it, creates a vacuum between its rear end and the nose of the following car, actually pulling the second car along with it.

The first car I ever drove was a blue UAZ... just like this one:

The first car I owned was a blue plymouth laser, year 1990, it looked just like an ecllipse.
1986 Pug 205 GRD. Great car (only needed approx. 4l/100km Diesel) until a truck driver decided to make an u-turn on the highway without looking into the mirror.

100 km/h and bang, only broke my nose...

jesus! that must have been an extremely expensive repair bill for a 'cheap car'.
how much did it cost to get the chassis straightened out? how did you manage to find all the proper parts on the cheap?

1989 Ford F-150
Pros:
Two gas tanks
One helluva of an off road truck, Drove it in some swamp land and at some points the water and mud got up to the bottom of the door even with my 4in lift. Never got stuck

I still have it just for playing around with.
It was my first car and was great fun to drive
Cons
No AC
Wipers got hit by a tree branch and were never the same
No front bumper- Well a modded POS
No tailgate
When I first got it the passenger door worked, but one day the handle got stuck and could not close I had to tie it shut. When I got home I took the whole thing apart and got it to close, but then it got stuck again and I could not get it back open, it ****ed me off so much that I jerked the inside handle and broke it in half.
No inside paneling for driver side door, just the frame –you don’t want to know why

Since it was just the frame for the door, the driver side window was being held up by a 2x4 piece and leaked in the rain.
I will take some pictures and stick them up tomorrow

When I was 14 I *attempted* to take out my parents Miata and ended up crashing it into the garage. I had no clue how to drive manual and I popped the clutch and hit the garage.

1992 Chevrolet Cavalier RS
My parents got it used (after being totalled and fixed) and gave it to me when I got my license. Since we got it, it has had numerous new parts put in (probably more than the car was worth) including a new CD player and speakers

. We sold it a couple of months ago and I'm now looking for a new car. If you know of any, don't post them here, visit my thread at

I still have it. It was my dads car and then he gave it to me as a graduation present. His replacement was a 2004 Grand Prix..******. I havent had the best of luck with this car so once I hit 100,000 (if I even get there...) I am going to replace it hopefully with either a Mitsubshi Lancer or Audi A4.
