just bought the creative labs 6700 series for my computer for watching DVD’s at uni. The driver software for the soundcard came with no pre sets for EQ so I was just looking for some advice from you lot on some tweaks for different genres of films.

Action (matrix, lord of the rings, war films etc)
Chick flicks
Thrillers
Comedy
Video games such as doom half life 2 etc
