Looks like I think I'm ready to step into the 21st century (finally!), and get myself a cell phone.

I really want something that is slimmed down and really only functions as a good phone. I have a pocket pc with plenty of whistles and bells, so don't really need/desire that on a phone.

What are some good buys for this? What are some things I should look out for when getting a service plan?
