So what's the crack then tongue.gif

All other Macs are included in the uptodate program where you have to pay £14/$20/€19 to upgrade blink.gif

Not that it isn't a iLife '05 at £14 isn't a bargain, I was just wondering why. pinch.gif

I am not sure what you are asking, but all macs are eligible for the Up-to-date upgrade and since the Mac mini and iLife05 are released on the 22nd there is no need for an up-to-date for it.
Elliott
Nah, that's just Apple's Mac mini marketing gimick. All Macs bought after January 22nd should come with iLife '05. If you buy a Mac after January 22nd and it doesn't have iLife '05 on the restore disc on on the computer image, tell Apple that. They'll probably give you the newer restore disc.

Customers who purchase a qualifying new Macintosh computer on or after January 11th, 2005, that does not have iLife ’05 included can upgrade to iLife ’05. Terms and Conditions apply.

That's only if you buy a Mac before January 22nd... All Macs after that date will ship with iLife '05.

That's what I'm getting at, if all Macs will come with iLife '05 after the 22nd why the punishment for the owners who buy in the 11 days in between?

It's just a whinge over nothing really, but I find it curious.

Because the product isn't ready for impatient people and it costs them money to send out the product to the user.

But I'm impatient and can't afford the £14 tongue.gif

Anyway, not that I give a crap, I can't wait to get my grubby mitts on it all.

I remember I qualified for the iLife '04 Up-To-Date with my PB but I couldn't afford the $20 and pirated it anyways. wink.gif

What Mac are you getting?
