Thought it might be interesting for people to post there cars after they have been crashed, a story about how it happened and what they LEARNT from it!

I use Windows XP...Crashes are not an issue...

Ice Storm occurs, roads get crappy, people loose control, and boom. The rest is history.

Still waiting to get my car back... maybe on the 22nd.

well ..no car crash. but here's one for ya. accident in april 2002, had 9 operations so far, almsot lost my right leg and left hand. i'm a walking pile of skin and scars by now.

and they say that bikes are dangerous, more like car drivers are.

Actually both are dangerous. Saying one is more over the other is just stupid.

this is my moms car, flipped over about 9 times before it rested on its side.. it was a hit and run accident on the freeway.. she wasn't driving though, my uncle walked away without a scratch on him.

I had a bad crash quite recently where I had an argument with a tree in wet weather, the car was completely destroyed, I walked away unscathed lol.

well my tyre died on me going round a corner ended up in a ditch, dam.

still sorting out my claim this week.

now i know it looks minor, but i managed to destroy the complete front suspension linkage and everything attached to it, bent the rear axle, and manage to bend the chassis?

it's been wrote off and i'm now settling with my insurance company

insanekiwi, I had a motobike accident like yours too, I was riding my 125cc Aprillia RX:



And a car pulled out in front of me, and skidded around and my leg was in the motobike caught in the turn of the carboretta and my left arm was stuck under a car wheel crushed. I was unconcious. See I don't do things by halfs.

I woke up 2 hours later still at the scene with no feeling of my body at all, and fire crew and police officiers where sorting things out, and Fireman had to cut and remove the front axel of the car to release my wrist and cut the bike straight in half to get my leg out. My leg was just disjointed, but my arm was no more. (Had no bone in it) I was rushed by helicopter to Hospital and when straight into surgery and had my leg snapped and put back into place and my arm is bone replaced and working with 8 pieces of metal, 12 Metal Pins and screws and my skin. Nice. And it only took 2 Operations.

Also, while this was all happening I had photographers taking pictures of me and the accidient without helping me. Stupid twats. The Car Driver had only 1 cut on his head by hitting the side window. There were photographs and an article released in the local newspapers around here, but I have only heard stories about them, I haven't seen the articles and pictures, and honestly never want too. It wasnt a good day for me.

Going down a BIG hill in the snow (i know, stupid in my car) in the snow before it was plowed or salted.

Originally they found about $16,000 worth of damage, which wasn't enough to total it. Ordered all new parts and starting working on it, found some more, brought it up to about $18,300 worth of damage, which was 80%+ of car's value and would have totaled it, but they already got parts and started working in it.

A little over a month later, i got the car back. You wouldn't know that it was in an accident. Neither me or the passenger got a scratch on us.

But still a Mercedes. He could have picked a Hyundai or something to crash with.

Its not really the thing you think of before you have a crash.

i've only had someone hit me, but no point posting pictures was a few smacked pannels, and the main tridion of the car (the main safety part of the car) just had a big long dent in it, not sure what the insureance company did to fix it. but total came to something like under £300 car is worth about 5k P.S i drive a smart car and proud of it.

someone went across the front of my dad, 2 front wings, bonnet and bumper also a rad. he was in the Mercedes A-Class at the time but the airbag didn't go off because he was doing less then 5 mph.
brother car was smashed up by some assholes that don't like him. every panel had a dent in it so it was beyond repair because of the cost

Luckly no major accidents but had a few very minor accidents:

Here is the damaged done by a very silly 4WD driver while I was waiting for him to pull out so I could take his place in the car park at McDonalds. He backed into me and hit my car in the front. Luckly it wasn't very bad, only a small wide dent and a cracked grill and a bent number plate. Repaired now along with the rust you can see on the hood ( looks like new now )

hm, ive never been in an accident (thank god, knock on wood) but 2 summers ago my brother got hit on his SV650 out on the beach but a stupid girl who jump over a curb into oncoming trafic, and my brother layed his bike down but ran into the car. he broke his hip and had a broosed lung. in the hospital for a week, layed up for 2 months. and hes going to dayton to race his bike in 2 months..

and here about the closet ive been to really hurting myself. was going quite fast, tried to roll a stopie, little to hard on the front brake and wam, i almost did a face plat at ~15mph

Edited showing the dent. (it's only a shallow wide dent. See the black part (bumper) is not curved perfectly. Oh and I forgot, the bumper part got pushed into the body, forcing the driver's side of the bumper to nearly touch the tire.
