help my controls panels are gone!!! how do i get them back

i was installing 28.32 whql and doing a upgrade to 28.84 whql

i did a uninstall throught add/remove panels and also divece manger... it install's nview

When I upgraded from 28.32 I had to manually copy the nvdai32.cpl (sp?) into my %root%/system32 directory to get them to show up.

what does nvdail32.cpl (sp?) mean??

Not sure what the file does, but the "(sp?)" means "(spelling?)" because he's unsure if that's the correct spelling of the file name.

i formated my computer and reinstalled my os..i fixed a lot of crashing programs.

Make SURE your Virus Checker is disabled when you install. Didn't it say it was BETA!!!! Use your roll back to get your other driver back (system restore).
