Hey,
I have a small problem with QuickTime (Mac OS 10.3.7) and don't have a clue how to fix it. When I play a music file with it, it sometimes just freezes for a few seconds together with the rest of the system. At first I thought it had to do with my low amount of RAM but I upgraded it to 512 MB and the problem still occurs.
Any help would be appreciated!

Typical resource hog and will probably always do that, even if just for a second as it loads completely up. Is it set for auto updating?

Yeah it's set for auto updating, is that causing the problem or something?

What version of QuickTime are you using? 6.5.2 is the latest.

I don't want to switch. I use iTunes for managing my music but I hate the fact it always adds an opened file to the Library. That's why I also use QuickTime.
