I've always had ATI in the past but ordered a xfx 6600gt the other day and am lost in this driver talk heh.

Are there tweaked drivers for nvidia like Omega for ati, also which site has the most up to date official drivers for download, I checked nvidia.com and the latest are 66.93, but have seen talk about 70.XX drivers etc on here, or are they beta drivers?
Also, ATI seem to release drivers once every month or so, are nvidia on any kind of timetable or do they just get released at random times?

sorry for all the "noob" ish questions, thanks for your time smile.gif

Techconnect Nvidia Optimized Driver V0.4a, this is what I'm using. Lots of tweaks and customizations, including overclocking options. These are using the latest beta drivers tweaked to optimum performance.

Check it out here and enjoy:

The Omega drivers seem to be decent, but you will find most people just use the Forceware drivers

EDIT: Just looked into those TechConnect drivers, they look interesting, I'm formatting this weekend, might give them a shot

OmegaDrivers aren't updated often enough. You can get the latest official and unofficial drivers at http://downloads.guru3d.com/.
