Last may (or was it april, can't remember) i bought my first mac, an iBook G4. My biggest problems with it are the inability to hook it up to an external monitor and use it with the lid closed and its small screen resolution. I was thinking about selling my iBook and go for a 15" powerbook, but i need to ask this, is it really that much better?

All i use my iBook for really is word, excel, powerpoint, web browsing, photoshop and iPod.

Would it be worth getting the powerbook or should i just keep the iBook for now

actually, thats exactly whats gonna happen... kinda.

my mom is going to "claim" the iBook, but in turn she's gonna help me pay for the powerbook (but only if i get the student loan).

im gonna wait tho till tiger comes out to get a powerbook. My iBook is good enough for now.
