i saw this in another thread where a guy was playing halo 2 on his mac mini just cause it was on a dvd

when i asked about this they said: of course u can play it, its on a dvd

does that mean i can play any console game thats on a dvd on my soon to come mac mini??????

he wasn't playing the game, it was a demo dvd (dvd as in VIDEO dvd)

so no u cant (well u can do emulation which u can also do on a pc)

blackice just put in the a regular dvd. If you read the disc carefully you'll see that. It's not the real game, just the bonus movie disc with all the backstage stuff etc. It can be played on any regular dvd player.

It was the Halo 2 DVD that comes with the limted version...you honestly thought I was playing Halo 2 on a Mini?

What the heck are you talking about? There are several console emulators available for the Mac.
