I'm going to get myself an eMac later this year (when I can pull the money), but I'm wondering if Apple will ship them with Tiger and iLife '05. Does anyone know if Apple have any plans to update the eMac?

I am sure if they decided to keep the eMac line, they will go on updating it. The last update was April 2004, 9 months ago.
hmmm....rumor has it that a new line of iPod Mini, Powerbooks and eMac are on their way right?...I say you wait a bit and when the news is confiremd, you go from there....

Commercially, the eMac has been brilliant for Apple. School, colleges, universities and other organisations buy them in their tens and hundreds. They're all in one, easy to set-up and very efficient - but also, importantly, affordable. Now we've got G5 iMacs, it's only a matter of time until Apple produce a G5 eMac.
I'd defiantly wait. Looking at the timing of a possible new eMac and Tiger, I wouldn't be surprised if they launched them at the same time - but that's a guess.
