im no audio/music buff, but to me it sounds like they're playing allot of sound clips backwards there to get that distorted sound.

thats what i'd say

sound to me like its recorded sound with a few filters and a distortion layer. With some EQ shifting. but since it's a final sound all you can do is guess!
