Only one thing will keep me from trying this...The fact that it says Alienware on it. I wouldnt use a theme that says Compaq or Dell on it, why would i use one that has a company name on it? Is someone paying me for advertising for Alienwares way too overpriced computers?

Don't particularly care for most of the theme...I do, however, like the iconpackager theme it comes with.

I'm not sure if the individual skins will be released...but for those of you who just want single parts of the theme (ie. just the wmp skin or iconpackager):

Download & install > navigate to target location > rename Darkstar theme file to Darkstar.zip > uncompress the file > enjoy

Its like any other alienware product, too much flair and not enough substance.

It looks great as a picture but to use it on your desktop daily it would drive you insane. I personally like the default XP theme, or silver, or just windows classic. No point in worrying so much about themes

Why are the Tabs in MS word tools/options all black and unreadable. So far that's the only problem I have found. Otherwise I like the WB skin.

It definitely looks different compared to other skins, and besides the red text on the black buttons, it's pretty nice. However, I find the AlienMorph theme (with the gamma turned down a bit) more usable versus this skin.

Well I have been using it for a while, and I changed back to what I was using before, it was a little too dark for me, it also had some areas where it tried to make black boxes around black letters and you would not be able to read them

Even though I am not into black themes, this pwns. PWNS.

This is not a payware suite. Just a suite done by them. You can download it freely at the alienware website or at wincustomize.com

But I do have to agree on that point....it is hard to figure out sometimes what is neowin's position when it comes to payware suites. Considering that WB suites that are payware have been advertised here in the past such as pixtudio....its hard to understand why msstyles are allowed.

I personally think that a payware/premium section should exist for visual styles and windowblind themes
