So I got myself a Sony Ericsson T630. The down side to this is that it's locked to the Virgin network.
Now I've looked high and low to try and find some software that I can use to unlock the crap thing. There is none.... that I can fine.

I tried Crux Unlocker, and also USR. Crux has the potential to work, but doesn't have enough room to put my IMEI in. it's a couple of characters short

USR has 1 tool for the T360, and it needs one of those big USF(?) things, which is what I don't have. What I do have is a USB data cable. When I attached it to my Windows box and installed the software, it made itself COM 3. Which could be useful.

Does anybody know anything about this sort of thing? Virgin say that they will unlock the phone for free, as long as you've topped up your prepaid account with at least AU$80, which I think is just wrong, and crap.

I dont' want to be stuck with Virgin. Even if it is just for $80. I'd rather pay $80 to another provider that I'll actually use. DAMN THEM!
