Well, lastnight i was going out and had to sit in the bus for 30 minutes to pick up some friends. I was like "hey, great time to test drive my brand new Ipod cool.gif ". Was sitting in the bus, put some music on, and sit back and relax smile.gif . After the 30 mintes when i was at the destination, switches of my Ipod. But, what was that? I looked at my BRAND NEW IPOD and there where scratshes on the display, becaus in the same pocket where i put my Ipod in the where some coins. I was like "MOTHER****ER &^%&*$%*& (<-piep)"

You can figure what the problem is, the scrathes. My question is, is there any way to remove those or can I buy a new casing or something?

Maybe that acrylic eyeglass repair stuff would work on a ipod display. I don't know if anyone has tried it but it may work.

Happened to me when i first had my ipod too, put it in my pocket with my keys accidently and it left a big ass scratch on the screen. Three months later it broke and i got a new one under warranty, so it all worked out fine. I know this doesnt help just thought i'd cheer you up with my good fortune

I know the feeling pinch.gif I could never have thought the iPod is THAT sensitive...
I always thought only the metal part is the one that could be scratched easily, and put the earbuds in the front side of the iPod in a case. it's so scratched now...

i think that will work

iCleaner will remove it and buy yourself an iSkin, thats pretty much the only way you can get rid and protect your iPod

Here is a review between iCleaner & Ice Creme

I scratched it once, scratched it again. Dropped it, slammed it in a car door - and now I really cannot be arsed to keep it nice. If it wants to get scratched - it can.

Ha, back when i had my 3G, i cleaned it every week tongue.gif and tried to keep it in top condition.

your ****** sorry.

there was some company that made iPod chemical for this reason to buff out scratches and stuff but it didn't work very well reviewers said it wasn't worth the money.

I suggest you buy a new iPod and this time get a case.

Now why in hell would be buy a new iPod just because of a scratch?

Really, what I've realized is that though the iPod is pretty, it's not a child. You can't constantly baby it. It's going to get scratched with time, and there's really no reason for a case. It's like if we lived in a bubble to keep us from ever getting sick.

hahaha thats awesome

On a bit of a tangent here, when i returned my ipod as defective, they didnt even ask me for a receipt or nothing ito actually prove purchase. They just took my number and said we'll call you when we have a replacement. This is all at a genuine apple store. Got my new ipod with never having to show a receipt. Couldnt believe it.
