hey guys im new

, eheh, im just deciding weather or not the iRiver h320 is the best choice for me at this free site....i think the creative zen touch 20 gig is the one for me, but im not sure the site manager will let me custom order it
you cant listen to an entire playlist straight through, with outh hitting the next track button?
you cant look at pics while you hear music?
whats the a-b button do?
how much does it cost to get the battery replaced when it dies.
are there firmware downloads to fixany of these problems?

take a look at this -->http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=300796
you don't have to worry about replacing the battery, it won't die..
i don't know about listening to music and viewing pictures, havn't tried that, but you should be able to, i don't see why not.
umm the a b buttons.. ****, i forgot, i don't have it with me.

1) Yes you can listen to a playlist without hitting next button
2) No, you can't look at pics while listening to music
3) AB button allows you to set up different playback modes like shuffle, repeat and then quickly switch betweenb them. You also press it to queue up a song while another one is still playing.
4) I don't know about the cost of the battery, so I got the Best Buy replacement plan.
5) There's non US firmware downloads that enable video playback and such, but they also break DRM support.
Also, there is no need to fear me or whatever as long as you're a good member. Welcome to Neowin dude.

my mates had loads of trouble with his creative zen id recomend the iRiver
ps. the a b button repeats a bit of the song. so you press it once, then next time you press it it goes back to when you first pressed the button and keeps repeating the bit of the song between each button press.
sorry didnt really know how to explain it hope that makes sense
then if you hold the ab button for a couple of seconds it does as bangbang023 said switches between repeat shuffle etc. or at least thats how it works on my iHP-140

do you know if a future US firmware release will fix the DRM? i don't care too much, but it would be nice.
