I recently won a Creative Zen PMC through Microsoft's Puzzlestorm competition at Carnegie Mellon University.

I'm impressed by its snazzy looks and it plays MP3s, jpegs, and wmvs. However, many of my video are avi, mpeg, and mov files (possibly encoded with Divx and XVid). It also requires the use of Windows Media Player 10 to sync with the Zen PMC.

Is there a community forum designed specifically for Zen PMC that can help me figure out how to put these non-wmv files so that I can watch them on the Zen PMC?

Or does anyone have any experience in modding/hacking this Zen PMC to upgrade functionality?

Also, are there any alternative software that can be used to transfer files to Zen PMC?I use Winamp plenty, and drag and drop from My Computer doesn't seem to work with non-wmv Files.  blink.gif

I remember doing this sort of hacking/modding stuff for Rio's SMP-350 MP3/CD player using Iriver's firmware. I'm hoping there'll be a similar situation here.

Please do help.
