Hey, I found an ancient Psion 3a in my study today and I was wondering if I could hack it to install an OS or do anything interesting with it. I have a serial cable and I plugged it in but the computer doen't even know it's there.

So I'm wondering what I can do to crack it open and to do with it.

I'm also thinking I could use it as an LCD display for Current song and CPU temp etc, anyone have any ideas?

I remember this, my mum had exactly the same model. It would be cool if you could hack the OS, would the LCD fit in the bay on your PC?

And also, great avatar biggrin.gif

I don't think I could fit the LCD in a CD bay as the LCD is to big, however I don't mind it sitting on my desktop...

Also I could hack some of the buttons so I could forward a song or maybe use it to select music... Now that would be a challange!
