Right, dont laugh but I have a ABit NF7 nForce2 motherboard and a Abit Siluro GeForce 4 Ti4400 graphics card.

The problem is that when in Windows (XP Home SP2), every time I right click on a icon the screen goes black for a couple of seconds before returning to normal.

I'm using the current drivers from the nVidia site but have had this problem for the last few driver updates and the problem has continued over a couple of fresh Windows installs.

No one I know has had this problem and i've tried turning off all the nview stuff and various other things i dont understand.

Any ideas whats causing this as its driving me mad.

Are you using Coolbits?

The overclocking/clock frequencies panel in the NVidia properties give me that problem but when I disable it, problem solved.

Not using coolbits, problem starts straight after I instal the official drivers even right after a clean instal.

I have the same problem.

I'm almost sure it is a problem related to the most recent drivers but can't find a way to eliminate it.

Found that setting the Display Mode Timing to GTF lessens the problem but doesn't resolve it.

As usually it happens only to few people so nobody cares :-(
