Hey guys, I'm new to the linux deal. I've got a fedora core 3 box going in at work to be used mostly as a file server with samba and what not.
I've been looking into a Hawking or Zonet 3-port usb/parallel print server for the network, but read that the Hawking Tech one will only work with Mac if the printer is a postcript printer only - needless to say I don't belive mine are...

Can I use the File server and also use that as a print server for 1 usb laser printer and 1 usb canon photo printer?
Does Samba do that or does Fedora Core 3 have that functionality built in? Any software I have to install to handle that?

Thing is we have Mac's and PC's in the office and I need everybody to have access to those printers.... Thank you so much guys!!!

Yes FC3 has it built in. And you should be able to use the usb printers...although I find USB hardware for linux is a bit of a gamble. However, try this link.
