Want to 'play with a Mac' on my Windows XP Professional PC but I know there are a few ways of applying skins etc. and loads of Mac-style skins.
Can anyone help?
download a visual style, and patch your system.
here's how to patch and apply visual styles:
http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=182900note: vs appears in the appearance tab, not the themes tab.
kol has some nice styles:
http://studiotwentyeight.com/there are more in the completed vs section.
there is no "best," so just try them out and use what you like.

Yeah, KoL's Tiger skin is nigh on perfect. I never had any complaints about that one.
KingMustard: Styler is well worth checking out for getting several Mac-esque VS tweaks in one. Theme, toolbar and shadows.

Yea, KoL probably makes the best Mac VS' clones for Windows, I remember back when I wanted all my stuff to look like a Mac, but when you aren't getting the real features, it looks "alright" and is less functional just because you want looks, its not worth it.

I actually prefer KoL's panther VS but either way I do think he makes the best ones. TD 4.0 makes some awesome Mac visual styles too.

I am a firm believer that KoL's tiger WB skin or Xero's new Tiger WB skin are the best OS X themes out there.
Of course that means you will need WB but hey I happen to like it anyways so its not a problem for me.

Hobbs or Hobbes made an awesome Tiger one. See if you can find it.
