Just a quickie,

I have a dual input Iiyama E481S monitor, it has inputs for DVI and VGA. Currently i have it hooked up to my pc on DVI, could i also hook up a mac to it on the VGA socket and switch between the two?

I havent got my mac yet but want to know just so i wont have to buy costly kvm switches for the monitor, just a usb one.

there is a switch on the front of the monitor that says "input". when i press it, it goes blank, presumably on the VGA channel, and then i press it again and the picture comes back.

Thanks for all your help

Yep. Have a Hitachi 21" w/ VGA and BNC inputs with a switch for source...works good for two computers.

I'm able to do it on my Gateway 17" LCDTV, so it should work fine for you. With mine there's a few more inputs to cycle through, but I can switch between analog (PC) and Digital (Mac Mini).
