I manage a mid-sized network and I am trying to make a currently annoying taks easier. There are a ton of programs out there to help me remotely manage, install, monitor and troubleshoot remotely...but I can't find one that will simply let me uninstall programs...anyone know of a tool or a special way to do this? I know I sound lazy..

thanks!

Look in the software documentation. There are switches that you can use to uninstall some software.

OR ......

If you had assigned software to a user via a GPO, then you could move the user from the OU and the software is uninstalled for you.

For future you may want to do this. You'll need a MSI creator if the app doesn't ship with a MSI installer.

If....when...should....the GPO isn't exactly effective in the enviroment that I manage. Last year when I was in Germany I came accross an excellent application that they used called "Netinstall", it's extremely functional and configurable, almost too much for me...heh.

Has anyone hear of NetInstall? It does patch management, software management and anything else you can think of...
