I want to ignore any BIND updates. I've tried putting

CODE

Ignore { "^bind" }

in my apt.conf, but it still wants to update it.

Anyone know how to get apt-get to ignore updating vertain packages?

Nevermind. I had to add it both to the Ignore section and the Hold section.

Such as:

CODE

Ignore { "bind*" }
Hold { "bind*" }
