Is it possible to have the same name for a local user account and a local group account?
I have an existing local account, but when I tried creating a local group with the same name it said group already exist. I don't think this can be done, but wanted to check with the experts first. Thanks in advance!

You're right - can't be done.

Normally groups are plural.

Example:
User = Administrator
Group = Administrators

It is not common to have a group with a specific name.

Example:
(Wrong)
User = John Smith
Group = John Smith

(Correct)
User = John Smith
Group = Accounts Department

or even
User = John Smith
Group = John Smiths
