any help here would be great...im looking at adding a 512 stick in my emac (1.25ghz model) and was wondering if the ram differs from regular PC ram....basically if i buy this http://www.kingmax.com.tw/product/pro_deskMPMC22D-38KX3.htm or this http://www.kingmax.com.tw/product/pro_deskMPXB62D-68KX3.htm will it work in my emac, because apple ram is totally OVERPRICED.

thanks smile.gif

You could use it and it'll work fine. I have kingston RAM in my PowerMac G4 that I bought at Circuit City and it works fine and even OS 9 sees it, although that is irrelevant to most people nowadays, so it'll work. Doesn't the eMac use PC2700 RAM though? PC3200 will clock down sure but wouldn't PC2700 RAM be cheaper?
