When will it be shipping with Mac computers? On the standard release date? I've been wanting to get an iMac G5 but I don't want to get it with Panther and then have to pay to upgrade to Tiger.

It will start shipping on the release date, but if you buy now, you'll only need to pay for the cost of the media to get the upgrade.

iMacs are supposed to be updated soon. I'd wait a little bit if I were you, at least until early next month.
