Well I've had my mac for over 2 years. Dual Proccessor 867 Mhz 768 MB Ram 60 and a 160 gig HD. Well I havn't really used it much and thought id try to start using it for more. What do you guys use your macs for? What would you sugest i use mine for tongue.gif.

You could always send it to me. w00t.gif Well, you could use it as an ordinary every day computer, you could do web design on it, lots of stuff really.

Well, that's still a fast system.

Well, you could use it for anything you want, i (dont use it as much as i want to) use mine for music, running mac programs, etc. basically i do anything my pc does.

The best thing I ever did with any of the Macs I've had was loading Linux on them. There are a few distros with PPC builds and a Mac will run Linux like a champ.

yeah, i know of YellowDog and Ubuntu, there is another one i cant remember though.

Fedora has a PPC build. I ran it on my G3 lappie until I gave it to my daughter.

those things own for movie editing, i know a guy that does professional video editing on a single 800mhz g4. He says it still does it as good as the new processors

you could use it as a toilet biggrin.gif . (i like pcs better)

relax i only kiddin use it for graphics editing if ur into that stuff thats what macs are good for

Go out and buy iLife for $79 for it. And you will have hours of fun just playing with Garageband wink.gif
