Mr Farrar
Hey I was just wondering how I could get 5.1 on a powermac g5, I see no soundcards at the apple store; do I have to use like optical or something?
Mr Farrar
ANYONE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Check out the M-Audio cards, they are the only Mac supported ones I know of, and can you wait just a little while for someone to respond? pinch.gif It's not like the thread sank to the bottom.

Seems like all the Mac threads are circular... Or people don't bother to search before posting the SAME question time after time...

I'm looking at getting the M-Audio 5.1 to stick into my PM G5 soonish.

I had a M-Audio Revolution 7.1 in my PowerMac G4. Best sounding card I've ever had. Much better sound than my PC's Audigy 2 for half the price.
