Outta boredom, I made this Dreamweaver MX icon. Let me know what you think, nothing too special. Any suggestions? Should I make a set out of these?

Very nice. Maybe try and put the "d" above the aqua circle and give it a nice inner shadow to make it look like its ingraved. Just a thought.

Always had a fondness for orbs, spheres and such. Maybe you could "sink" the d a bit...rising from the centre so-to-speak.
Hey man,
Great bluddey icon, I don't suppose you can do the entire Macromedia set, that way I can replace the ones I have now :ditsy:

I just spent a few minutes putting these together, any suggestions? How do they look, etc? Let me know, give me feedback people! Also, anyone have any ideas for a name for this icon set?
Thanks a lot,
James
PS: I was going to make the letters stand out more? Add a cool effect to um'? Maybe pop-up lookin'??

Thats my only suggestion. Raise the letters up a little or make them look imbedded. Other than that great work.

Hey,very nice icon, but everyone make very big icons and forget to optimize it also for 32x32
It's not a big deal if you make huge image with photoshop and tell us it's "icon"...
Anyway, good job (could you send me template? i just wanna see it,don't worry(

Hey,
I could try and create a wallpaper, it's not really hard. Just that I've got a 17" Trinitron monitor and running at 1280x1024 res. it's hard making wallpapers higher than 1024x768 cause I can't see beyond the screen and it gets difficult. Any suggestions wallpaper creators?
Thx.

lol get photoshop and resize the canvas to 66.7% of the original size or smaller
As for that icon, kinda seems like the top of the "d" is floating up away from the icon.

Ya amazing icons man, just drop the "d" down a bit because it's touching the top right corner but is pretty far from the bottom left. After that I say they're perfect.
Nice progression

What I mean is that on the bottom of the metal rim, some of the blurred gradient spills over onto it. Makes it look a little blurred. Hard to notice, but just informin ya. Nice job btw

Don't let your internal image tough the edge...it disrupts the flow of the icon. (Move the "d" down some.)
BTW; SWEET WORK. Nice to see someone 'thinking different'.
