Currently I hold what looks like my 3rd dead iPod.
I hold it up to my ear, I hear the hard disk spinning, than it just stops, and starts again. Does not mount on my PC or Mac.
This time though, I most likely won't be getting a replacement T_T

The thing has a dent in it, which kills the warranty. *sigh*.

I've had nothign but bad experiences with the iPod. First one got stolen, second just broke down on me for now reason, third has some nice hard drive failures. Great.

If you've read my laptop thread, in the mac hardware forums, perhaps now you believe that apple simply hates me?

have you tried putting the ipod into disk mode before plugging it into the computer??

what are you getting on the ipod screen??

A dent=your fault. You can't blame the iPod because you don't take care of it.

These things happen, if it isn't that old use the warranty.
wyzeguy
you must be new...
