hey guys

I was out on the town with my mates last night and took my digital camera out with me. Now my mate steve he got absolutly wrecked and in the kebab shop he was doing all this rap stuff and its full on funny. So i want to edit it in iMovie HD but I'm having some problems:

First I uploaded the movie via iPhoto so then I drag and drop it in iMovie so it imports it, but once it's done it has no audio with it and i dont know how to solve that problem.

Also I was to add the titles to the start but it wont let me.

so if there are any experts that could point me in the direction of a tutorial or provide some help on here I would appreciate it alot.

Thanks.

Well I don't even have a Mac yet but check you have the correct 'codec's' (if OS-X uses codec's)

Have you tried dragging the file right off your camera to the desktop then importing it to iMovie instead of going through iPhoto first?

do you have the updated iMovie HD? Version: 5.0.2? Because that problem with the left out audio was solved in that update...

I had that same problem, when using the movies from a digital camera and putting them into imovie, use this program mpeg streamslip
and i was able to put them into imovie by exporting the clip as a dv stream. good luck!
