Ok, here is the deal. I've been working and saving all my money because I hope to buy a car after I graduate which is in June. I've been wanting a new mp3 player for some time now and I have narrowed it down to the Zen Micro. I'm having a debate whether or not I should actually buy it because I do want a car. So can you guys convince me to get it, say, how are the features, is it worth the money, etc.. Any help is greatly appreciated. I do plan on buying it, but I just want a little more information before I make it final.

Also, which version should I get? 4gb or 5gb? I'm leaning towards the 4gb but with the 5, you get some accessories that could come in handy. I don't know which one to choose!

Again, any help is greatly appreciated. wink.gif

That is just way too much for me. The Zen Micro is perfect for me, price wise.

Should I go with the 5gb over at Creative.com.

It comes with a Power Adapter, Belt Clip & Stand and I guess a Pouch. All of that is $229.99. I'm leaning towards a 4gb because it's 179.99, but I don't know which one to go with!! Help me out!!

well it all depends on how many songs you have and the rate of increase. if you have 400 or less songs now you can get the 4gb. if not get the 5gb.

if you are maybe looking for an alternative, you could go with the rio carbon. it gets really good reviews, and it looks really nice, way better than the Zen Micro IMO. you can get a 5gb carbon on newegg for 170

The Zen Micro is a really good player but make sure to get the 'photo' version because if you do not, you have a big change to get the annonying headphone jack problem... pinch.gif

Hope this helps,

Um.. I have owned a Zen Micro 5GB (RED) and it was a good player for awhile but than it broke down on me.. The headphone jack problem came into effect, than the battery got all stupid and wouldn't work anymore after I turned it off and I would have to charge again.

If your looking for a good player, you said the zen micro was $179.99.

Instead, in my opinion go for the sansa e260.. It's 4GB and it's perfect for you, I think, haha. It has Photo/Video/Music. Excellent player. I recently bought it from bestbuy about 3 days ago and I am loving it!! Well the sound quality isn't as great as the zen micro but the interface, scroll wheel, photos, etc. are excellent. Easy to use too.

Well I hope you give the sansa e260 a look.

I guess the original poster already made his decision and bought the mp3 player he found available, if you look at the first post, it is from more than a year ago!!! It is kind of pointless to give him advice now.
