I have a compaq armada m700 laptop and i was messing around in the bios and i accidently put the power on password in the bios and I forgot and now I know that i have to take the battery out and and reset it but i dont know jack squat about a laptop so what are my options? or how do i get to the battery on that laptop

and for people that dont know what battery im talking about, im talking about the internal bettery.

Call up compaq. Often they will have a master password that you can use.

should be under the keyboard, remove for about 5-10 min and that should do it.
