Hi all,

only really noticed the difference until I reinstalled yesterday.

I have a Hansol 701p (17" crt). I've allways been happy with it, although after installing WindowsXP I could no longer get 1280x960 in 85hz (but now in 75hz). I put this down to a difference in the monitor driver (hansols specific driver rather than P&P). That was Untill I reinstalled, when I first set my machine up it was using the default (basic) geforce driver that lacks all the tweaking options. I installed my monitor driver as per usual and ta-da! 1280x960 in 85hz. So I then connect to windows update, seeing that MS put Nvidia's 28.32 drivers in there I added them to the list. Much downloading and a reboot later I'm back to fricken 75hz. Has anyone got an idea why it should remove 85hz when my gf2mx and my monitor can clearly do it?

just use something like nv refresh tool 1.0 to set it to whatever you want.

sorry about posting in the wrong forum.

BroChoas, hence the title this is NOT a games problem but windows problem. The option has been removed from the monitor refresh settings.
