Mr Spoon
Isnt there a program to automatically change the Logon OR boot screen?
I know it is just a case of using "Replacer" to replace the file, but, hmm. . . what do you recommend?

Also, where are the two files located?
Thanks,
Pete

I use Reshacker. search for it.
the file: logonui.exe in C:\WINDOWS\system32\
Mr Spoon
Yea, i thought that was it, but when i replaced it it still didnt change.
I wonder if XPise 3.0 has something to do with it hmm.gif I guess I could un-install that and then reinstall it withouth the Logon? Then in theory it should work.

boot screen is in ntoskrnl.exe.

the easy way is to create a 16 color (4-bit) 640x480 bitmap, name it Boot.bmp and put it in c:\windows. then edit the boot.ini file. add /bootlogo /noguiboot to it.
Soham
use bootxp
