The OverDrive in ATI cards what does it do? apart from increase VPU speed does it also inscrease the speed of the fan and reduce it?

I think it's just a OC utility, but not sure what else it does than changes MHz smile.gif

Um, i think it also monitors card temps, but thats about it. For OC'ing, use ATiTool or ATi Tray Tool.

yeah i agree^ use ATI tool 0.024 beta9 download - http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/ATITool/1074728381/1, this has fan speed control and a testing feature, its the best overall ATI overcloocking utillity.

I have a Sapphire ATi Pro Advantage Edition(Atlantis) card, can I flash it to 9600 XT and then use the OverDrive feature
