no need to get angry... were only here to help..
and whats funny about is is, it's in the control panel.. you should know where everything is, and how to do everything if your an ADMIN to a forum.
i see somebody else set it up for you...
look for the 'spell checker' in the control panel also

You might also want to turn on either email validation or admin validation. Once IB 2.1 comes out, you will be able to do both, for now, you have to choose one. I'd recommend email validation, a lot easier then you having to validate new users every day or whenever.

I'm using PHPBB2 with Plus 1.52 and their is option in "Administration Panel" which is called 'Ban Control'. It's under "User Admin". It has option to ban names and option to ban IPs. You can see the IP by clicking on the IP button in his post.

I was just trying to give him idea, since only one other guy is trying to help instead of making stupid comments. That seems to be the common idea lately is to be jackasses instead of posting something constructive.

He already found it though farmeunit, if you would of read the entire topic. I'm not an ass, so don't take my response in a bad way.
It's totally different however, for anyone else in the future that reads this posts and has no idea how. You just login your ADMIN CP, open up Users and Groups then click Manage Members. Enter in the members name and then click Edit Member's Profile, select the group banned for everything on that page and nothing else for the member groups and privilages.
Also double check to make sure that each forum privilage does not allow banned members to read, post or make new topics, since by default I believe it allows it with the pre-made forum, if I can remember correctly.

I don't take yours in offense at all mistical. Talking about those other guys. And my bad for not reading good enough. Just trying to lend a hand.
