I have installed Windows 2000 back onto the machine and now i'm wondering if there is a way to restore the registry or fix the registry of my machine.
Any Ideas?

Did you back up the "system state"? This contains the registry.
Nope. The registry is corrupted. Can I repair it somehow?
I reinstalled. Problem Solved
Make a backup of the system state! NOW!
