Since this is a mail-in rebate, they may actually ask you for a copy of your student ID.

Damn this would have been sweet if it worked on Mac Minis.

I'm a student, but I lost my ID for the second or third time... If I buy an Apple, which won't happy anytime soon, I guess I'd have to go get another. I don't know about you guys, but my student ID is useless because I never need it.
brettm133
I have the rebate form and it doesn't look like they ask for student id.. just send the form in with the upc code..
koulen
Thanks

wow... thats a bit strage. cuz i can't do **** without my ID. its encoded for a hundred things like: its my debit card on grounds; i can't get into my dorm without it (swipe-in + digital code); can't eat without it (swipe-in); and I can't get into parties without it.... its my life line. but gettin back to the topic on hand, it is a limited time offer and if so, how long does it last?
uniacid
oh great, yeah do this 2 months after I've already bought my iBook, thanks! hmm.gif
Yvo
sweet i just bought my imac and had to pay $157 in stupid sales tax, this will lower at least a portion of it.
