Hi everyone,

I need help with Opera. Everytime I try to access a secure web page I get an Illegal Address error (see screenshot of details). Does anyone know to avoid it?

Internet Explorer can open the page fine, but I'd prefer to use Opera.

I'm using Dial-up and behind a Proxy Server (Proxy settings for MSIE and Opera are identical).

Ideas anyone? unsure.gif

did you remember to make your proxy settings for HTTPS the same as your HTTP settings? If not, you have no way of accessing secure pages.
STNG
Check Opera proxy server settings.

Opera automatically set HTTPS up incorrectly. I didn't realise was causing those errors wacko.gif

Thanks both for your help. happy.gif
