Full Version: why cant i just copy images?

ok this is getting really annoying now

every time i want to copy an image, i right-click and there is no copy image, only copy image location

so what i end up doing is saving the image to my hard drive and copying it like that

what am i doing wrong???? why cant i just copy the image straight from the website????????

Maybe I should have asked this first: What browser are you using?? From that list, it sounds like you are using FireFox or some other browser. Maybe that browser doesn't have the option to copy the image??

ya its firefox but i really dont want to use IE

it worked fine on my other pc!

let me check if it works in Safari

EDIT: nope doesnt work... ****!

you use "save image as"

but wait..i have "copy image" on my firefox unsure.gif ..i dont use it tho

well maybe the firefox context menu editor extension can help you

How about just dragging it? Hold down your mouse on the keyboard and then drag it where you want it.

Just drag the image from the web page to your desktop click on the image and drag! its so simple......

He's not wanting to save the image to his computer (he already said that!), he's wanting to copy it to the clipboard. The screenshot I provided shows that option in the context menu of Safari, I'm not sure why he isn't seeing it (maybe different version of Safari?).

have you tried updating? maybe you have an old version unsure.gif
